The trout lake is 1.5 acres in area with a maximum depth of 18 feet. It is stream fed and enjoys very clear waters.

We re-stock daily or as required with Rainbows from 1 3/4 up into double figures plus Brown and Blue Trout to 4 pounds.

The clear waters and high levels of oxygen mean that the trout are of exceptional fighting quality.

Prices. Tickets are based on a catch limit
2 fish£15
3 fish£20
4 fish£25
5 fish£30

A discount of 10% is offered to pensioners, under twelves and overnight guests (Bed and Breakfast or Self-Catering). If a non-fishing companion wishes to stay with you we make a nominal charge of 50 pence.

An Environment Agency rod licence is required. For further details see Licences .

On payment of a small charge we will be happy to gut or fillet your catch for you and seal it in a sleeve ready for freezing. We are also able to either hot or cold smoke it.

We do not offer tuition ourselves, but would recommend one of our regulars - Ian Sorenson.

We have recently been working on the narrow end of the lake in order to make it more fishable. This has paid of as anglers have had some considerable success in catching under the trees. For more details see News .

Season Tickets.

In response to requests from regulars we are now pleased to offer season tickets. Prices are:

50 fish £300
100 fish £570
200 fish£1080

The advantage of a season ticket is that you only pay for the fish you actually catch. If you blank one day, you still have the same number of fish left on your ticket. Tickets are valid until the end of the year of purchase and are non-transferable. Full terms and conditions are available on request. Orders and enquiries to sales@holliestroutfarm.co.uk , or call us on 01404 841428 or Lo-call 08452267714.
