Set in the midst of the beautiful Blackdown hills, in a secluded hidden valley surrounded by woodlands containing a rich variety of wildlife. We are open all year round from dawn to dusk offering fresh fish, gourmet fish products and most importantly superb fly fishing.

Fly Fishing, Tuition and Tackle Hire

Fly fishing is available on two lakes (and soon on an additional pool) offering over two and a half acres of water with depaths to fourteen feet. This provides a variety of challenges for anglers of all skills. Stocking levels are carefully monitored throughout the year to ensure a great fishing experience. Our fish are kept in excellent condition and have a deserved reputation for their fighting qualities and flavour. The lakes are stocked with with fish from two pounds up to sixteen. 

A full range of fishing options is offered, from taster tuition sessions, through accommpanied fishing  to full corporate days.

Food

We produce a range of food products from our own trout, including fresh fish, smoked trout and pate. These products can be bought on site or through a number of farmers markets and farmshops. You may also find yourself eating Hollies trout in local pubs and restaurants. Any trout fish caught in the lakes can be prepared to order.  

Amenities

Acces to the lake is easy and the good-sized car park is close to the lake providing easy access for the elderley or disabled. There are benches at favoured fishing spots, with toilets close by.

Holiday accommodation

If you want to be close to the fishing or just enjoy the countryside of the Blackdown hills, why not stay with us. Our log cabin sleeps four with a well equiped kitchen, shower room and log burner. You can enjoy the peaceful environment, a family barbeque or use the cabin as a base for exploring.
